Swift County Farm Family

Nagler Family

After graduating from South Dakota State University, Tim Nagler began farming in 2001. Erin graduated from South Dakota State University in 2005 and joined Tim in the operation.

Together the two farm approximately 1,700 acres of corn and soybeans and manage a small cow-calf operation. Their children, Grace, Aubrey and Graham, assist with cattle chores as well as planting and harvest.

The Nagler family is active in their community. Tim serves as fire chief for the Danvers Fire Department. He is also Ag Processing, Inc.’s director, a Six Mile Grove Township supervisor and a Benson FFA Alumni member.

Erin serves on the Swift County Extension Committee and the Swift County FSA Committee. She is also an EMT for both Benson Ambulance and the Danvers Fire Department, a director for West-Con and a board member for the Benson Area Community Foundation.

All three children are involved in 4-H, and Grace and Aubrey also participate in FFA.
