This week's youth spotlight features Wyatt B.! He is an independent 4-H member and is in seventh grade. Wyatt has been in 4-H for seven years and participates in the miniature horse, dairy and swine projects.
Wyatt's favorite 4-H event is the county fair. "I get to show my animals, hang out with friends, camp and eat fair food." When we asked him about his 4-H memory, he says it was starting 4-H. "I remember all my firsts," he adds.
4-H has made an impact on Wyatt throughout the past seven years. He says he has learned about being responsible for caring for his animals, being a positive role model, and gained confidence in himself. Volunteers have also helped him believe in himself and learn about his projects.
Wyatt's advice to anyone considering joining 4-H is, "Do it! Have fun, be respectful to everyone and try everything!"
