4-H clover Riding lessons for Swift County 4-H Horse Project members

Practice Dates:

Lessons will take place from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Thursdays at Shamrock Hest Riding Arena in Benson (2298 Tatges Ave).

Join us for an exciting series of riding lessons where you can have a great time, gain valuable knowledge, and learn practical tips to enhance your skills. Bring your horse, put on your boots, and come with a positive attitude as we work together to improve each lesson. Get ready for an enriching experience that will help you become a better rider!

Participation fee: $10/session. Checks can be made out to Swift County 4-H. Credit cards are also accepted by calling the Extension office at 320-843-3796.

All horses being used for lessons must be identified in 4-H Online and have an up to date negative Coggins test on file with the Swift County Extension office prior to their first lesson.

Meet the Instructors:

Tammy Rudningen

A local horse enthusiast who comes to you with a lifetime of horse experiences. She has participated in 4-H, WSCA and Barrel Racing Jackpots for many years. She combines her horse experiences as a Horse Camp Director, Summer Camp Counselor, School Teacher and avid competitor when sharing her passion with all lesson participants.

Emily LeBlanc

Growing up, Emily, was active in 4-H showing dairy goats and horses. She showed in both western pleasure and games through Chippewa County. Currently she barrel racing with her horses!

Jordan Erickson

Jordan has been competitively showing horses for 16 years in breed shows, 4H, WSCA, and recently ranch versatility shows. Along with showing horses, Jordan also trains her own horses, and is a certified Equine Massage Therapist!
