During the 4-H Showcase at the St. Louis County Fair, fairgoers have the opportunity to vote through the People’s Choice award. Each year there is a theme to the People’s Choice award. Last year 4-H youth were challenged to show off their pet. This year 4-H youth are challenged to create something that incorporates these five elements:
- A frame (dog agility equipment)
- Animal prints
- Spatula
- Wood bird house
- Livestock Ear Tag
Project ideas could include a drawing/painting, a short story or poem, a wooden bird house with the other elements incorporated, a collage, a photo, a mug decorated, and so much more.
Project requirements- must incorporate all five of the above elements, the submission can be no larger than 8 ½ X 11. Photos of the project are encouraged to be displayed instead of the actual project themselves.
