4-H clover 4-H Record Keeping for Becker County 4-H'ers

4-H is not just learning by doing.  It's learning by doing it, sharing it, understanding it, relating it, and using it.  Record keeping encourages you to reflect on your experience so you can share it with others and learn.

There are two types of 4-H records: participation summaries and project records. For each of these, there are two levels: Basic (completed grades 3rd-6th) and Experienced (7th grade and up).  You can add just about anything to tell your story.  It's YOUR RECORD, so add whatever you think is needed to make it complete (for example: planning calendar, financial statement, photo page, journal, exhibit and awards, recognition, etc.)  The collection of information will help to remind you of your many accomplishments both in and out of 4-H.  It will also be helpful in developing a resume as you apply for awards, further educational opportunities, and employment.
