The Traverse County 4-H Gardening Club will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 8 to 9:30 a.m. this summer. We will kick things off on June 4 from 8 a.m. to noon.
Join us at the Community Garden in Wheaton (on the corner of 8th St and 2nd Ave N, kitty corner from the social services building) unless otherwise noted. We also have a plot at The Traverse County Fairgrounds.
We will plant a variety of flowers, fruits and vegetables. Together, we will learn about agronomy, the growing cycle, garden care, harvesting, preserving, and storing. During the summer, we will also visit the farmer’s market and participate in other fun activities.
