4-H Needle Arts Project Day

For all 4-H Needle Arts projects including Knitting, Quilting and Embroidery
- A knitting & crochet teacher will be on hand to answer questions or to teach beginners.
- Bring a project for “show and tell”. An experienced Fair Judge will be on-hand to give judging tips.
- Hands-on Projects: Opportunity to learn to crochet, or use a knitting machine to make an I-Cord.
The I-Cord can be made into a bracelet. A materials fee of $2 may be charged for hands-on projects. - Live demonstrations: cleaning raw wool, carding wool, spinning yarn, needle felting
- Live animals on display: sheep and llamas
- Project Day session will be 1 hour. 4-H families are welcome to explore the rest of Spin Fest & Fiber Fair afterwards.
Project Day will be held during the St. Cloud Spin Fest & Fiber Fair which runs from10-4. This is a free event. Fiber animals and yarn marketplace will be happening on the site. 4-H Project Day will be in the main store building classroom during this event. Check at the registration table for directions to the 4-H Project Day classroom.
This is a free event. Pre-registration is not required but is appreciated by calling 320-252-2996. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
