4-H day camp counselor training 

Are you in grades 7 and up and interested in working with younger youth as a camp counselor? We will provide training and support to learn skills as a camp counselor. This is a great opportunity to add volunteer experience to your resume and to gain volunteer hours. 

Roseau County 4-H Day Camp Counselor training will be on Sunday, May 19, 3-5 p.m. at the Roseau County Courthouse Boardroom. There is no cost to attend this training. 

All youth interested must register for this training.

Day camps

Youth who have completed grades K-6 in 2024

Grab a friend and sign up for any or all programs available through 4-H for your age group. 

Teen day camp counselor opportunity

Youth in grades 7 and up. 

All youth interested must register for the Roseau County 4-H Day Camp Counselor training.

Cost

Payment can not be made online. Complete registration process by returning payment to the UMN Extension office. 

We accept a check written to “Roseau County 4-H” or cash.

Please include youth's name on the memo which camp they will be participating in.  

Scholarships available: We want all youth who wish to participate to have the opportunity. Please let us know on your registration if you need a scholarship (financial assistance).

Registration

Registration is required by May 15 in 4-H Online to attend.

Are you currently enrolled in 4-H this year?

Please do not create a new profile.

  1. Login into your 4-H Online saved profile, Click on "Events," and select the event(s) you wish to register for:
    1. “Roseau County 4-H Exploration Multi-Day Camp ” 
    2. “Roseau County 4-H Discovery Day Camp” 
    3. “Roseau County 4-H Day Camp Counselor training” 
  2. Select camp or training session dates to attend, complete registration and submit. 
  3. You will receive an email confirmation that it is complete, if not please contact our office.

Have you participated in a 4-H event in the past?

Please do not create a new profile your profile is saved online. 

  1. Login to 4-H Online by entering the email address and password previously used. (Click “reset password”  if your password is not working.) 
  2. Once logged in, update any information and submit. Note: Under club section, select a community club of your choice or ‘"In Person 4-H Camp/Event." Under project area section, either select “Cloverbuds” (only for youth in grades K-2) or “Explore 4-H" (for new families).
  3. Once approved (within a day), you can finish registering. 
  4. Login into your 4-H Online saved profile, Click on "Events," and select the event(s) you wish to register for:
    1. “Roseau County 4-H Exploration Multi-Day Camp ” 
    2. “Roseau County 4-H Discovery Day Camp” 
    3. “Roseau County 4-H Day Camp Counselor training” 
  5. Select camp or training session dates to attend, complete registration and submit. 
  6. You will receive an email confirmation that it is complete, if not please contact our office.

Is this your first time attending a 4-H event? 

Please create a new profile.

  1. You will need to set up a profile in 4-H Online. Click the link “Don’t have an account?” Select “Minnesota '' and then “Minnesota 4-H Youth Development” next select” Roseau County." 
  2. Enter your family contact information and set a password.  
  3. Click “Create Account” and enter all information and submit. Note: Under club section, select a community club of your choice or ‘"In Person 4-H Camp/Event." Under project area section, either select “Cloverbuds” (only for youth in grades K-2) or “Explore 4-H" (for new families).
  4. Once approved (within a day), you can finish registering.
