4-H clover NSLC 4-H Pinewood Derby

The north St. Louis County 4-H Federation invites all youth in grades 3 and up to a three-part learning series to create and race a Pinewood Derby Car. 

All participants will receive a pinewood derby car kit, learn how to make a pinewood derby car, and have an opportunity to test their cars all before the big race in August at the St. Louis County Fair. 

When: 

  • Saturday Feb. 10 - Intro to Pinewood Derby and car design. 
     
  • Saturday March 9 - Learn about aerodynamics and weights for your car.
     
  • Saturday May 4 - Test out your car in a mock race.  


Come and learn from your peers in this exciting new program! 
 

Audience

All youth in grades 3 and up who have interest in learning about and competing in the 4-H Pinewood Derby.
