Add to Calendar 2024-07-08 16:30:00 2024-07-08 21:00:00 Anoka County 4-H Fashion Revue The Anoka County 4-H Fashion Revue consists of two events—the evaluation night and the public fashion show at the Anoka County Fair. 4-H Fashion Revue allows youth the opportunity to demonstrate what they've learned about clothing construction, consumerism, appearance, grooming habits, clothing selections, and more.The categories for this event are:Fashion Revue- Constructed Clothing- Modeling garments you have constructed yourself. Fashion Revue- Purchased Clothing- Modeling garments that you have purchased. Fashion Revue- Upcycled Clothing - New in 2022.- Modeling an upcycled garment that is constructed from a previously worn garment that has been updated/altered in a way to produce a new garment.Examples of upcycled include:Oversized t-shirt made into a cinched t-shirt dressAlternating the style of the garmentSignificantly updating an old prom dress to make it currentWearable art that can be added to purchased garmentFashion Revue is:An opportunity to demonstrate skills and knowledge of clothing and textile construction and consumerism.A reflection of the fashion trends of young people.A learning experience in dressing and grooming for the “total” look.An educational experience for learning to project confidence, enthusiasm, and poise. The Anoka County 4-H Fashion Revue consists of two events—the evaluation night and the public fashion show at the Anoka County Fair. 4-H Fashion Revue allows youth the opportunity to demonstrate what they've learned about clothing construction, consumerism, appearance, grooming habits, clothing selections, and more.

The categories for this event are:

Fashion Revue- Constructed Clothing- Modeling garments you have constructed yourself. 
Fashion Revue- Purchased Clothing- Modeling garments that you have purchased.

Registration

Register by Monday, June 24 through your 4-H Online account. 

  • If you have a family account in 4-H Online, login and then click on Events on the left side of the screen; event is "Anoka County 4-H - Fashion Revue". Then select members name. On the next screen, click “Start Registration”.
  • If you are new to 4-H, you'll need to set up an account. Creating an account does not require commitment for future participation. Select "In-person 4-H Camp/Event-Anoka County" for Club and "Clothing & Textiles or Cloverbuds" for projects.  Once your account is approved, view the 4-H Online event registration guide for help in registering for the event.
