Have you ever wondered how your brain actually works? Or how we even figure out what's going on inside our heads? Come get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the UMN Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain (MIDB)! You'll get to meet and talk with brilliant researchers, hands-on clinical staff, and the amazing team members who make this groundbreaking science possible every day. We’ll tour their state-of-the-art facilities and dive into some awesome, hands-on learning using the Brain Waves curriculum from Extension and MIDB.
Lunch will be provided by the MIDB. This event has space for 1 adult chaperone. If you are interested in chaperoning please contact Sarah Devine. ([email protected])

Anoka County 4-H youth grades 5+
Cost
Free. But you must pre-register. Maximum of 12 youth and 1 adult chaperone.
Registration
Register by Wednesday, August 5. Register through your 4-H Online account.
If you have a family account in 4-H Online, login and then click on Events on the left side of the screen; event is Anoka County 4-H explore the brain with the Masonic Institute of the Developing Brain". Then select members name. On the next screen, click “Start Registration”.
If you are new to 4-H, you'll need to set up an account. Creating an account does not require commitment for future participation. Select "In-person 4-H Camp/Event-Anoka County" for Club and "Science Inquiry" for projects. Once your account is approved, view the 4-H Online event registration guide for help in registering for the event.
