Thursday of CCLT is a hands-on day-camp experience with young 4-H’ers. As a 4-H youth leader, this is your time to shine and learn new leadership skills.CCLT focuses on bringing together youth from all over Anoka County and creating a strong, supportive, amazing community with everyone involved. Participants can expect to spend time together being themselves, learning about themselves, and making lifelong friends in the process. Focusing on personal growth, leadership skills and working with young people, CCLT is a valuable experience for all teens.Some Important Information to know:4-H members who will be finishing 7th grade and up are welcome to attend the training.To counsel at overnight camps (summer 2024) counselors must have finished 8th grade or higher by summer 2024. Audience

  • Youth who will complete grades 7 & up in the spring of 2024.

Cost

Early bird rate and guarantee name on the back of shirt and receive a counselor shirt - $125 (must register and pay by May 22)
Regular rate - $140 (Registration will be open until camp is full.)

Fees cover 12 meals, snacks, supplies and camp expenses (staff including lifeguards, supplies, special programs, etc.).

Registration is not complete until payment has been received. Scholarships are available. If you need to drop off your payment, our office building is open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. If our office is not staffed, there is a secure drop box next to our office door.

You are also welcome to pay by credit card. You can pay for all youth on one transaction.

Registration

Registration will open in early spring.

Register through your 4-H Online account. You must register and pay by May 22 to guarantee name on the back of shirt and receive a counselor shirt;  registration will stay open until camp is full.

  • If you have a family account in 4-H Online, login and then click on Events on the left side of the screen; event is "Anoka County 4-H Camp Counselor & Leadership Training". Then select member's name. On the next screen, click “Start Registration”. 
  • If you are new to 4-H, you'll need to set up an account. Creating an account does not require commitment for future participation. Select "In Person Camp/Event - Anoka County", for Club and "Explore 4-H" and any other projects of interest for projects. Once your account is approved, view the 4-H Online event registration guide for help in registering for the event.
