Have you had any experience building? Have you made a catapult to send objects flying? Have you tested the strength of a bridge? At this camp, you will imagine, plan, build, test and modify designs to make them work better. You will build different bridges and test their strength, design different tracks to create a ski jump and construct several different types of catapults to see which will send objects flying the furthest. Come with your engineering thinking hat on to investigate the best way to make your machine function the best.Foley day campers need to bring a bag lunch and a water bottle, as Foley no longer has the food program. 4-H Foley Day Camps are held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following Tuesdays, June 4, 11 and 18.Each day camp will focus on a different science discovery topic:June 4 - Animals on the farmJune 11 - Hawaiian color explosionJune 18 - Engineering and construction exploration Foley Elementary School Foley Elementary School Foley Elementary School America/Chicago public

Join us on June 18 for 4-H Foley Day Camp #3: Engineering and Construction Exploration!

4-H Foley Day Camps are held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following Tuesdays, June 4, 11 and 18.

Each day camp will focus on a different science discovery topic:

June 4 - Animals on the farm
June 11 - Hawaiian color explosion
June 18 - Engineering and construction exploration

Audience

Youth that have completed grades 3 through 6.

Cost

$15 per youth per day camp attending
