Do you love horses? You can become a 4-H horse judge! To train and be certified to judge 4-H horse shows, you must be at least 18 years of age and not a current 4-H member.
The horse judges' training and certification seminar is offered every spring for new and re-certifying judges.
New and re-certifying judges sessions
Both Friday and Saturday sessions are mandatory for everyone applying to become a certified 4-H horse judge.
The Friday session is not mandatory for recertifying judges. Judges must recertify every three years to stay on the 4-H horse judges list.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome, but pre-registration is required, including 4-H’ers, adult volunteer leaders, parents, etc.
There is a $10 spectator fee that you can pay at the door after you register online.
