Minnesota 4-H State Horse Show
Getting ready for and taking part in the Minnesota 4-H State Horse Show gives 4-H'ers life skills. It's always a great experience for them and their families.
At this show, you will see 4-H'ers of all ages showing their riding skills in Western and English styles, their knowledge of horses, and teamwork.

Schedule for the day
Events organized by location.
Only Hippology and Judging Contest horses move in from 10 a.m. to noon. Barn decorating starts at 1 p.m. Other horses can unload starting at 2 p.m.
Sheep Barn
- Noon, Coaches check in to verify teams
- 12:30-1 p.m., Hippology orientation
- 1-5 p.m., Hippology contest
Compeer
- 5-5:30 p.m., Coaches check in to verify teams
- 5:30-6 p.m., Horse Judging orientation coaches and contestants
- 6-10 p.m., Horse Judging contest
Coliseum
- 7- 9 p.m., Open riding - watch for changes
Show office will close ½ hour after the last competitive event or 9 p.m. whichever is first.
