Reducing food safety risks involves several things: good employee hygiene, well-designed and clean equipment, safe purchasing practices, proper food handling, and systems to monitor and correct mistakes. Well-trained and supported staff are key to keeping food safe in your establishment.
In each module, you’ll learn about common food safety hazards, risky behaviors, and practical ways to reduce risks in your workplace. The course also includes training tips and resources for your staff. Some modules provide sample cleaning and sanitation procedures that you can download and customize for your business.
By the end of the course, you’ll be able to create and use sanitation procedures and monitoring systems that help prevent foodborne illness in your establishment.
