The third annual Tri-County Winter Webinar Series will offer community members the opportunity to learn practical skills from Extension experts. Whether you’re a homeowner, small farmer, hobbyist, or simply curious about plants and landscapes, this series provides accessible sessions on gardening, habitat creation, food production, and more.

Session Information

This presentation will demonstrate design styles, techniques, and tips so you can make your own Christmas centerpieces and outdoor pots. It will encourage your creativity so that you look at your table or walk by your outdoor pots and they catch your eye and bring you joy instead of looking like it has every other year.

Tracey Srock has been a University of Minnesota Master Gardener since 2010. Her passion for growing flowers, fruits and vegetables began as a child as she followed her father in the garden.  As she raised her three children, she also shared with them the joy and satisfaction of growing beautiful flowers and enjoying the delicious flavor of homegrown fruits and vegetables.

Since becoming a Master Gardener, Tracey has taught classes for community events, gardening clubs and expos.  She has been actively involved in the summer Youth Gardening program at the local Arboretum.  This program gives children their own raised bed and teaches them how to plant and successfully grow fresh vegetables.  The children take home their own produce weekly and are also taught delicious ways to prepare their vegetables.

Tracey started Morning Glory Flowers out of her home in  2017.   Her flower business began with arrangements using fresh flowers from her gardens.  Now she orders weekly from wholesalers for individual orders, funerals and events.  Designing custom arrangements, centerpieces, and outdoor containers that personalize and reflect on the recipient is her focus and joy.
