The third annual Tri-County Winter Webinar Series will offer community members the opportunity to learn practical skills from Extension experts. Whether you’re a homeowner, small farmer, hobbyist, or simply curious about plants and landscapes, this series provides accessible sessions on gardening, habitat creation, food production, and more.

Session Information

When you intentionally garden to attract wildlife, you are supporting a variety of diverse organisms. Adding basic and unusual structures provides year-round nourishment, housing, and protection for wildlife, while also creating benefits for your plants and soils. Discover how you can support wildlife, no matter the size of your garden!

Katie Hagen is an Extension Educator in the area of Agriculture and Natural Resources Systems for Pine and Isanti Counties. She has a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, a minor in Agricultural Business, and a Master of Science in Agricultural Education from the University of Minnesota. Katie is passionate about education, natural resources, and conservation, using her farm to experiment with sustainability and conservation practices. She enjoys using what she learns from those experiences to help other people in her local community.
