Ambassadors are role models for other 4-H'ers and serve as positive representatives of the Minnesota 4-H program. They represent a diverse group of 4-H projects, programs and areas of the state.

The state ambassadors recognize the impact of volunteers on the 4-H program for Global Volunteer Month and encourage 4-H youth to do the same locally during National Volunteer Week, April 21-27.

Over 600 4-H’ers took on the statewide challenge with awards given in the categories of tallest sunflower, largest sunflower head, most petals and most seeds.
