Simple Living
Jeanne and Travis Anderson began operating their fourth-generation farm outside of Montevideo in 2017. They raise corn, soybeans, sugarbeets, beef cattle, hogs, and layer chickens. In addition, they have a farm-to-table business, Simple Living, through which they sell sweet corn and other produce to their surrounding community.
They are supported by their family, including Mike and Kelly Anderson, Derek Anderson, Darrell and Evie Anderson, and their three children, Miles, Charlotte and Carson.
Jeanne and Travis are active Chippewa County Farm Bureau members, and Jeanne has served on the Chippewa County Extension Committee for the past seven years. Their children are active in 4-H, and Travis co-leads the Milan Challengers club.
