Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) Guide

This guide is designed to support adults in facilitating a Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) process. It offers concrete examples and strategies for assessing readiness for a YPAR project and training youth to conduct research—including identifying critical questions; selecting appropriate methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, photovoice); collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data; and sharing their findings to advocate for community change.
