Youth and 4-H
White Earth Tribal 4-H youth program
Within the White Earth Nation and surrounding communities, 4-H provides culturally infused unique learning opportunities and leadership experiences. Programs often include community elders as guides and take place outside of school hours, as well as in collaboration with area schools and tribal programs.
The question of what 4-H means for youth in White Earth Nation is answered through the candid response of Dana Trickey, 4-H youth development educator, and 11-year-old 4-H’er Lilly, in the below video.
