If you have a horse that is 38 inches high or less and you are in grades 6 and up, you can show in the State Miniature Horse Show.
Junior and senior divisions can do showmanship, obstacle at hand, hunter, jumper, driving obstacle, driving, ground driving, liberty and costume.

No regional qualifying shows will be offered moving forward.
Youth in grades 6 and up only are welcome to show at Minnesota 4-H State Miniature Horse Show on Sept. 15 at the Kuka Equestrian Center in Maple Plain.

The 2026 Minnesota 4-H State Miniature Horse Show will be on Sept. 15 at the Kuka Equestrian Center (4405 County Road 92 North, Maple Plain, MN 55359). Registration will open at 9 a.m. and the show will start at 10 a.m.
Youth must be enrolled in the 4-H horse project. In addition, their horse must have 4-H horse ID forms completed and negative Coggins papers to participate.
Divisions include:
- Junior, completed grades 6-8
- Senior, completed grades 9-13

Required paperwork
Your state miniature horse show paperwork is due with you county state horse paperwork at your county fair deadline.
Horses must be ID'ed in 4-H Online by May 15 or submit horse identification papers to your local Extension office by the due date.
