Whether you’re just getting started or have been preserving food for years, this course will enhance your knowledge of food safety and preservation. This online, self-paced course covers general food preservation and safety concepts, as well as specialized training in canning, fruit preservation, pickling, fermentation, dehydration and freezing.

In-person food preservation courses are offered throughout the year. Watch for upcoming events or contact your local Extension office for more information.
