Youth in grades 6 and up are invited to explore the fascinating world of meat science at Central Lakes College in Staples on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
During this hands-on event, participants will explore food safety, carcass grading, meat science and anatomy, potential careers in the industry and more!
Participants will have the opportunity to learn from industry professionals and gain a better understanding of what happens from the animal to the products we eat.
4-H youth in grades 6 and up.
$10 per participant, includes lunch and supplies
Register in 4-H Online by Oct. 19.
