Benton County Fair
It has been a fantastic month watching our youth shine during both the county and state fairs. We are so proud of each of you, and you continue to impress us. 4-H Youth State Fair Experience
Our Benton County 4-H State Fair season is in full swing! From August 26–30, 41 livestock youth worked hard showing their animals and representing Benton County at the Minnesota State Fair. September 1–3, 29 general project youth will have their opportunity to showcase their skills and be judged, followed by 8 llama youth attending the State Fair Llama Encampment September 2–4.
And we aren’t done yet! On September 11-13 4 youth will participate in the State Shooting Sports & wildlife Invitational, then starting on September 15, 9 youth will participate in the State Miniature Horse Show, followed by 8 youth competing at the State 4-H Horse Show September 17–20 and finally 3 youth competing at the State 4-H Dog Show September 26–27.
We are incredibly proud of all our Benton County 4-H members who have earned the opportunity to represent our county at the state level!
