Minnesota 4-H State Dog Show
The Minnesota 4-H State Dog Show will be held virtually in 2020. Visit Minnesota 4-H statewide showcases for more details about the virtual show.
Every September, 4-H'ers and their dogs compete in agility, obedience, showmanship and rally. This 2-day event takes place at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.
Spectators are welcome and admission is free. This is a fun family event. If you go, get our app for a detailed schedule, real-time judging results and more.
For participants
4-H'ers who have completed third grade and have earned a blue ribbon at their county show can participate in the 4-H State Dog Show.

The 2019 program fee is $15, plus $15 fee for each class entered.
Important news from the Minnesota 4-H Dog Project Development Committee:
- Every county with dog show participants must read the 2019 fundraiser information letter.
We need many volunteers to make the two-day state dog show run smoothly.
- Each county needs ring stewards -- responsible adult or youth leaders in grade seven or older.
- Nominations are accepted for Adult and Youth Outstanding Dog Project leaders.
- Many other opportunities to be part of the dog show program.
