Every September, 4-H'ers and their dogs compete in agility, obedience, showmanship and rally. This 2-day event takes place at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.
The Minnesota 4-H State Dog Show will take place Sept. 23-24, 2023.

4-H'ers who have completed third grade and earned a blue ribbon at their county show can participate in the 4-H State Dog Show.

How much does it cost?
The 2022 program fee is $25, plus $15 fee for each class entered.
Important news from the Minnesota 4-H Dog Project Development Committee:
- Every county with dog show participants must read the Minnesota 4-H Dog Project Development Committee Fundraiser Information Letter
We need many volunteers to make the two-day state dog show run smoothly.
- Each county needs ring stewards -- responsible adult or youth leaders in grade seven or older.
- Sign up to volunteer at the state dog show.
- Nominations are accepted for Adult and Youth Outstanding Dog Project leaders.
- Many other opportunities to be part of the dog show program.
