The University of Minnesota requires that all adult volunteers working with youth in the 4-H program be screened.
The screening process is easy and painless. It protects 4-H members, volunteer adult leaders, as well as the University of Minnesota.
All 4-H volunteers (club leaders, adult treasurer advisors, project development leaders, drivers, chaperones, and club and county committee members, etc.) must be screened. The club leaders have forms that are easy to fill out and complete the process. The goal in Lac qui Parle County is to have all adults screened and ready.
