Minnesota 4-H State Ambassadors are teens committed to making the best better for Minnesota 4-H and committees across the state.
Each year, a select team steps forward to lead, create, connect and serve, shaping experiences that inspire youth to learn and lead across the state, and sharing about the impact of 4-H.
For nearly 60 years, 4-H State Ambassadors have served as the face and voice of Minnesota 4-H, representing a diverse group of 4-H projects, programs and areas of the state.
During their one-year term, 4-H State Ambassadors facilitate and take part in activities to promote, represent, plan and implement high-quality programming for Minnesota youth. They gather in-person four times a year to do personal leadership development activities and to work as a team to create opportunities for middle and high school youth.
At the BLU and YELLO conferences, the 4-H State Ambassadors teach and facilitate learning sessions for youth participants. They also host Ambassadors Connecting with Ambassadors, the podcast Cloverchat and a statewide service project.

Statewide service project
Each year, the Minnesota 4-H State Ambassadors select a service theme to engage all Minnesota 4-H youth in learning about a community issue and taking steps to make a positive, collective impact. The theme is determined by the State Ambassadors with input collected from youth, community members, volunteers and staff across the state.
The service theme for the 2025-26 4-H year is Disaster Relief and Emergency Response.
