The database is a tool for understanding and providing a description of each species, agronomic recommendations, and soil health implications. The initial database was compiled with forage demonstration plot species showcased at the Minnesota State Cattlemen's Tour 2022. 30 species of forages were planted to allow for side-by-side comparisons for tour participants.
