Minnesota State Fair livestock encampment

Taking part in the Minnesota State Fair provides young people an opportunity to compete and showcase their project learning. 

4-H members who have completed grades 6-12 and earned a trip with their animal at the county level can bring one animal to the 4-H livestock encampment.

Livestock encampment includes an educational component by participating in interviews, as well as a competitive show component.
