During this workshop, participants will learn how to identify and manage common invasive species, such as buckthorn, garlic mustard, and tansy. This will be an interactive, in-person workshop.
Workshop goals
- Understand the impacts of invasive species on forests.
- Use iNaturalist and EDDMapS smartphone apps to identify and report invasive species.
- Identify common invasive species found in forests in Itasca County.
- Apply prevention and management strategies to control the spread of invasive species and limit impacts on ecosystems.
