4-H clover Fall Project Day

 Join Mahnomen County 4-H for a morning of fun with friends. Youth in grades 3-12 can choose up to 3 sessions to attend. Cloverbuds (youth in grades K-2) sign up for the Cloverbud session and require an adult to attend with them.  

  • When: Saturday, October 10; registration at 8:30 a.m. Session 1 begins at 9 a.m. and session 3 ends at 11:50 a.m.
  • Where: Waubun Public School - District Doors
  • Who: K-12 grade, youth in grades K-4 require an adult to attend with them. 
  • Cost: $15 per youth, cash or check payable to Mahnomen County 4-H collected at door on day of event. 
  • Registrations deadline: September 25

Youth can choose from 3 of the following sessions, we will do our best to honor your choices but space is limited:

  • Fall Luminaries: Create a fall mosaic candle holder using a mason jar and tissue paper.
  • Marshmallow Shooters: Make your own marshmallow shooter and practice targets.
  • Spooky Slime: Try different recipes of slime and see which is your favorite.
  • Rice Krispie Treats: Create fall themed treats to share or replicate for holiday parties.
  • Discovery Bottles: Create one-of-a-kind discovery bottles with glitter, beads and more.
  • Cloverbuds: Create a cozy birdhouse with items you find around the house. Have fun with experiments and create beautiful bead corn decorations for fall. 

 

Audience

Open to youth in grades K-12. Youth must be enrolled in 4-H to participate. Youth can enroll online at 4HOnline.
