Local 4-H club leaders will also be present.

Get inspired. Try out the fun. Our open house style event also features fun, hands on activities to learn about some of 4-H’s project areas! Create a quick rocket, examine a seed, build a Rube Goldberg machine, examine an animal pelt. In 4-H we learn by doing and that is exactly what your child will get to do at this event!
Why join 4-H?
4-H lets kids try new skills and express themselves through fun hands-on activities. Working on projects helps connect kids with their friends, families, communities, and the world. 4-H helps kids gain confidence and develop life skills that will help them be successful.
Who is 4-H for?
4-H welcomes all boys and girls, no matter where they live. Youth can join 4-H when they are in kindergarten and continue to one year past high school. Younger kids, kindergarten through second grade, are part of the Cloverbud program. Cloverbud activities promote creativity and discovery without emphasis on competition. Many activities and events are planned so the entire family can participate.
We hope to see you there!

Existing 4-H families we need your help

4-H families, you are invited to volunteer to make our fall information night a success! Thousands of flyers will be sent home with Anoka County students to encourage them to attend our 4-H information open house to learn more about joining. Can you help by volunteering at the event? We appreciate any time you can give!
Volunteers are needed for set up, check in, to run interactive learning activities and to simply help "talk 4-H" with the families that attend.
Parents/4-H’ers- Parents and youth are invited to volunteer together to run a station. There is plenty to keep your young 4-H'er busy if you run a station. They are welcome to participate in all of the learning stations. If youth are more interested in helping, we have plenty of spots young 4-H'ers can help with!
Project Committees- you can sign up to host a table to share about your project area.
Clubs- Each club is strongly encouraged to have a representative present to answer questions about your 4-H club and to meet families.
Sign up to help. (Sign up will be posted in early September.)
