Are you looking for a great weekend activity for a young person in your family who is neurodivergent or who has a disability?
This overnight family camp is a great place for youth with developmental or physical disabilities or neurological differences and their caregivers, parents and siblings. In other words, this is a camp for the whole family.
The camp will bring together families and youth for three days and two nights of outdoor fun and learning!
Families will be housed together. Some of the camp activities will involve the family participating all together. Other activities will be planned only for youth, youth with disabilities, siblings and adult caregivers.
Camp check-in is on Friday, Aug. 22, at 4:30 p.m., and checkout is on Sunday, Aug. 24, at 2 p.m.
Audience
Youth with disabilities (neurodivergent, developmental or physical) and their families, including school age siblings enrolled in 4-H or adult siblings. All youth in grades 3-12 are welcome.
Cost
- $125 per youth camper
- Free for caregivers
Registration
To register, complete the following steps:
- Enroll in 4-H Online. For assistance, refer to the using 4-H Online page. Note: Club membership is not required. Select “In Person 4-H Camp/Event” as your club option to register for this event.
- Contact Camp Director Betsy Minnaert by email at [email protected] or phone at 612-670-4866 to discuss camp specifics and register for camp.
- Submit payment by Aug. 10 to complete the registration process.
