Have you built rockets in the past but haven't had enough opportunities to fly them? Have you mulled over the possibility of building a rocket for the fair but wondered what you would do with the rocket after it was built? You've built a rocket but don't have the launch equipment? Or would you just like to see what flying some model rockets would be like.
Participants can launch their own rockets or use loaners from the instructor, Tim Moore and other MASA volunteers.
The launch event will be supervised and follow the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) safety guidelines.
Youth grade 5 and up.
$10; to hold your spot in class, mail $10 class payment to Dakota County 4-H, 4100 220th St W, Suite 101, Farmington, MN 55024, or contact 4-H staff to pay by credit card.
