You must notify 4-H staff that you plan to accept your trip or are interested in taking a trip by 10 a.m. on Saturday of the Meeker County Fair!
All youth who wish to claim a trip to the Minnesota State Fair, 4-H State Horse Show, or 4-H State Dog Show must follow the policy below:
Participants wishing to claim a trip that is within the quota limit must let 4-H staff know, and their name will be highlighted in green on the state trip qualifiers list. This must be completed no later than 10 a.m. on Saturday of the Meeker County Fair.
If a participant is not within the quota limit but would be interested in a state fair trip if given the opportunity following the deadline or by eliminating other names higher on the list due to lack of interest or claiming of a trip in another project area, they must let 4-H staff know and their name will be highlighted in yellow on the state fair line-up. This must be completed no later than 10 a.m. on Saturday of the Meeker County Fair. Please check back following the deadline to see if you will have the option to officially claim the trip.
If you would like to decline any of your trips, please let 4-H staff know, and trips will be highlighted in red on the state trip qualifiers list.
Names highlighted in orange are too young to accept a trip.
If there are still unclaimed state fair trips following the deadline and no one has indicated their interest in claiming the trip, anyone still listed on the state fair line-up may claim the available trips.
