4-H clover Interested in shooting sports?

Have a young person interested in learning about the shooting sports & wildlife program, particularly learning more about firearms and the competition that goes along with it?

The local shooting sports club is preparing for winter indoor practices. The Pipestone County 4-H Shooting Sports & Wildlife Program is designed to promote life skills through a safe and educational program. This program is led by trained and certified 4-H leaders. Young people learn by doing, as they experience hands-on learning in shooting sports and wildlife education.

There are a variety of discipline areas to participate in, some practicing solely in the summer months and others having practice opportunities in the winter and spring as well. Pipestone County currently has four certified coaches that lead practices.

If interested in learning more about the Pipestone County Shooting Sports please see the Pipestone County 4-H Shooting Sports Info sheet, contact one of the coaches or the Pipestone County Extension Office.
