Forest stewardship for wildlife habitat

Woodland stewards can support wildlife by understanding key habitat elements and using strategies that promote diverse forest habitats. In this event, participants will learn about strategies and resources you can use to improve wildlife habitat in your woods.

  • Identify the key components of wildlife habitat in forests
  • Understand management strategies to promote different types of wildlife habitats in forests
  • Connect with landowner service providers to access available resources that support management for forest-dependent wildlife
