Hello! My name is Victoria and I serve on the Minnesota 4-H State Ambassadors Leadership Team. My first year as a State Ambassador was almost completely virtual, so I’m looking forward to holding in-person events this year. In late July, we met for the first time at our orientation. Over the course of five days, not only did we learn about our roles as a State Ambassador, we also learned about each other. We learned fun facts and also about each other's strengths and how to support each other throughout the year.
We also started brainstorming ways to support 4-H exhibitors and staff at the Minnesota State Fair. Even though the state fair is still going on, it is going to be different this year. I am really excited to see 4-H'ers from across the state in-person again and all of the amazing projects that they have done.
After the state fair, stay tuned for an announcement of some of our plans for the year, including dates for our regional leadership conference Building Leadership and Understanding (BLU) and information about our statewide service project.
