4-H clover February 4-H State Ambassador update

Hi, everyone!

Quinn S., Nobles County
Minnesota 4-H State Ambassador

My name is Quinn. I have had the opportunity to be a part of 4‑H since I was a Cloverbud. This will be my 13th year in 4‑H.

I haven’t always been one to step out into the open. I typically stayed local to my county when doing events. I never knew about the wonderful experiences that were right under my feet until my Extension 4-H educator told me about the Minnesota 4-H State Ambassador program

Now, I am a part of the wonderful Minnesota 4-H State Ambassador community.

Become better leaders at BLU

Your amazing 4-H State Ambassadors are ready to help you become better leaders at Building Leadership and Understanding (BLU)

This year's theme is Bloom into Leadership. At BLU, you will gain leadership skills in communication and conflict resolution, build relationships with other teens and make a real impact through service projects focused on disaster relief and emergency response.

Learn about winter weather preparedness

With the winter weather in full swing, we would encourage you to join us in learning about winter weather preparedness, which is a part of our statewide service theme

Temperatures drop, ice forms and snow falls, which can cause accidents and emergencies. Making sure you have the knowledge of being prepared can make the colder months a little bit easier.

Try new things this month

We are one month into 2026. This month I challenge you to try new things. This could be stepping out of your comfort zone, trying a new 4-H project area, a new opportunity through 4-H or applying for something you never would have thought about.

I know I would love to try a new project in 2026!

Have an amazing year,

Quinn S., Nobles County
Minnesota 4-H State Ambassador
