Save the dates!

2 kids holding up rabbit art projects

Explore the wonderful world of animal science through hands-on activities and guest speakers. Kids in grades K-3 are able to learn about swine, sheep, goats, horse, beef cattle, poultry, rabbit and dairy cattle from industry professionals as we tour their facilities.

Sign up for individual sessions or all seven sessions, depending on your interest. These are the same sessions that were offered in the winter of 2021. For those who already participated and are looking for something new, watch for a 2022 opportunity.

These free Saturday sessions will be held via Zoom. Available session times will be 9:30-10 a.m. and 10:30-11 a.m. on the following dates:

  • Oct. 2: Dairy
  • Oct. 9: Beef
  • Oct. 16: Rabbits
  • Oct. 23: Swine
  • Oct. 30: Poultry
  • Nov. 6: Sheep and goats
  • Nov. 13: Horse

Session links will be provided once registration is complete. For help registering, contact Casey Olson at olso4266@umn.edu or read this guide.

You only need to register once and can attend any or all sessions.
