Pork Quality Assurance Plus (PQA+)

PQA+ provides improved animal well-being standards and relevant food safety standards to ensure producers can measure, track and continuously improve pig well being. 

U of M Extension, in conjunction with Minnesota Pork Board, holds these three-hour, in-person trainings throughout the year.

Check your certification status

PQA Plus certification is good for three years, so producers need to be re-certified every three years to keep their certification current. To check your PQA+ or TQA status, call the Pork Checkoff Service Center at 1-800-456-7675.
