Aquatic invasive species courses
See this page in: English
Join University of Minnesota Extension and Minnesota Aquatic Invasive Species Research Center experts out on the waters of lakes in Minnesota to learn about aquatic invasive species.
During these workshops, participants learn more about invaders such as starry stonewort and current control efforts. We cover the basics of identification, biology and impacts and then take a deeper dive with guest speakers. Participants also get to enjoy some hands-on learning as we pull aquatic plant life on board to put ID skills to the test.
