This week's spotlight is on 4-H'er Aubrey B.! Aubrey is a sixth grader who is a member of the Lakeside Victory Club. She participates in horse, swine and static projects. She has been in 4-H since kindergarten.
Aubrey's favorite 4-H event is the county fair. "You get to spend the whole week showing your animals with the support of your family and friends," she says. We also asked Aubrey what her favorite 4-H memory is. She responded, it is hanging out with all of her friends in the horse arena at night with all the midway lights on.
4-H and it's volunteers have made an impact on Aubrey. "It has shown me leadership, to never give up and helped improve my knowledge of horses and swine," she states about 4-H's impact on her. She also appreciates volunteers giving her help and advice about her horse, like volunteer Angie O.
To others considering joining 4-H, Aubrey says, "Do it! You won't regret it!"
