Meet Doug Eastman, our May volunteer spotlight! Doug has been a volunteer in the Big Stone County 4-H program for 12 years. Doug has been actively involved in the rabbit project as a Rabbit Superintendent and has assisted with the Poultry Project for numerous years. Doug was instrumental in the improvement of the Rabbit and Poultry barns. For his time and dedication, he was selected as a 2018 4-H Volunteer of the Year. Doug has served as a state fair livestock chaperone and as an Adult Advisor over the years. Doug and his wife Heather have five children: Tristan, Danny , Austin, Trent, and Emma. His children have either graduated from the program or are still currently involved. We appreciate Doug’s commitment to the Big Stone County 4-H program and we are proud to have him as a volunteer. Thank you Doug for all you do!
