4-H clover Tractor Safety Courses Offered in Goodhue and Rice Counties

Rice and Goodhue Counties are holding Safety Certification courses. The certification includes an online course that must be completed before the in-person dates, and a two day hands on certification course. In order to work for someone other than a family member and operate machinery between the ages of 14 and 16 youth must have completed a safety certification course. This course counts towards that requirement! Certification is for ages 14+ and registration will open in Mid April.

Rice County Tractor Safety Certification in-person course is July 12-13 at Quality Equipment Sales and Service in Faribault. For more information, contact Claire LaCanne.

Goodhue County is offering a combined Farm Safety and Tractor Safety Certification. The tractor safety course will be held July 14-15 at the Goodhue County fairgrounds. The farm safety course is for youth under the age of 14 and will be held on July 14 in conjunction with the certification course.  For more information, contact Aly Kloeckner.
