Because life sometimes gets in the way of a member or an entire family submitting the appropriate paperwork by the deadline, Minnesota 4-H has implemented a "member exemption rule." The purpose of this exemption is to provide every 4-H member with the ability "one-time" during their 4-H career to acknowledge that they have missed a 4-H deadline related to enrollment or competitive event participation and waive the consequences for the named deadline. You have two weeks after the Animal ID Deadline to use this exemption for a missed Animal ID.
You can find the details of the policy at this link. This table will help you understand the consequences here in Lincoln County.*Please note that the consequences will reflect the May 17 deadline this year. Please call the office if you have any questions.
