If you're in 9th grade or above and would like an opportunity to utilize your leadership skills, make friends, and work with youth this summer, we need you as a camp counselor! Interested youth are encouraged to complete a camp counselor application for the 2024 SE Regional 4-H Summer Camp, which will be held at Whitewater State Park (on Highway 74 between Elba and St. Charles).
- Counselors will be at camp from Sunday, June 16-Saturday, June 22, 2024
- Camp Counselor Training #1 will be Saturday and Sunday, April 6-7, 2024
- Camp Counselor Training #2 will be Sunday, May 5, 2024
- The application period is December 1, 2023-February 1, 2024
Fill out an online application here (once it's available) or contact your local county Extension Office for a paper copy. Online applications are preferred.
Even if you think you will have conflicts with the dates/times, you are still encouraged to apply - you never know how your schedule could change.
