Save the Date: LQA&E Training will be held on June 6.
This training is for youth (grades 6 and up) planning on showing livestock and who are eligible to go to the state fair.
It is the time of the year for LQA&E Training (Livestock Quality Assurance and Ethics). The tentative date for the free local training is Tuesday, June 6 at Johnson Hall at the Nicollet County Fairgrounds with other local counties. Keep watching Facebook for updates!
Participation in the training will:
- Promote responsible care of animals.
- Help youth make informed decisions in animal care.
- Ensure that 4-H members understand the commitment to providing safe food products to consumers.
The training accommodates multi-levels of learning for all ages. The level of training required is determined by the grade/age of the youth at the time the training takes place.
